The 10th Conference of the European Paediatric Formulation Initiative (EuPFI) “Formulating better medicines for children“ will be held in London next 11-13th September.
The European Paediatric Formulation Initiative is a consortium that focuses on better and safer paediatric drug formulations. It was founded by academics, hospitals and members of the pharmaceutical industry in order to detect and scope issues and challenges in paediatric formulation development. EuPFI provides funding, expertise and resources to support the solutions to the problems and new technologies emerging from academic research.
Catherine Tuleu, leader of the Work Package 8 dedicated to paediatric formulations is Member and leader of EuPFI that will be involved in the project activities. In particular, its database STEP (Safety and Toxicity of Excipients for Paediatrics) could provide updated information on excipients safety and toxicity in children.
This conference is the ideal forum to learn, grow and be inspired on the improvement of age appropriate dosage forms. There will be opportunities for networking during the refreshments breaks and the social evening. The meeting will be accompanied by an industrial exhibition, poster presentations and motivating pre-conference workshops.
The preliminary program is available here. If you wish to participate, please send your abstract prior to May 30th, by filling in the online registration form. Take a chance to join the conference!
