EPTRI representatives have attended the Information Day held at the Italian Ministry for Education, University and Research (MIUR) and organised by the Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE) and the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI).
The “Research Infrastructures Information Day” was divided into two separate but closely linked meetings in order to address, through an integrated approach, the theme of research infrastructures in Italy and Europe.
In the morning the event: “ESFRI Roadmap 2021“ promoted by the Italian delegation ESFRI, represented by Dr. Gelsomina Pappalardo and Prof. Caterina Petrillo was aimed to provide an update on the ongoing process and the next steps towards the ESFRI Roadmap 2021.
The afternoon the Event “H2020 Research Infrastructures national day for the launch of the 2020 last call of proposals” was organized by APRE, Agency for the Promotion of European Research, headquarters of the National Contact Points (NCP), on behalf of MIUR in close collaboration with the National Representative Prof. Cristina Messa, and with the participation of the European Commission (DG RTD), in the person of Dr. Lorenza Saracco.
The aim of the afternoon meeting was to present the funding opportunities of the Horizon 2020 Research Infrastructures Work Programme (including e-Infrastructures) for the year 2020. Specifically, six calls have been presented for a total allocation of about 342M€.
