The European Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences (EUFEPS) has announced the celebration of its Annual Meeting in Athens next 24-26th May. This year’s program will be focused on the theme “Crossing Barriers for Future Medicines” and it will cover issues ranging from oral and mucosal drug absorption and transport to innovative medicines and their PK/PD evaluation.
The meeting plans to offer 6 Plenary Lecturers, several invited session/short course speakers and short oral presentations selected among the abstracts. The conference offers a good opportunity to bring together scientists, industry and regulatory authorities around the future of medicines and the role of pharmaceutical scientists. Needless to say, the Greek capital represents a unique setting for this reunion.
Additionally, the EUFEPS Annual Meeting is organized in collaboration with Conference Co-Chair Prof. Panos Macheras, from ATHENA (Research and Innovation Center in Information Communication & Knowledge Technologies) who leads EPTRI’s Work Package 5 aimed to design the thematic platform supporting paediatric medicines discovery and early drug development that will cover all aspects of early-stage, preclinical drug discovery for pediatric therapeutics.
