SAVE THE DATE – “EPTRI: a new European Research Infrastructure to foster the translation research in paediatrics”, April 10th, Bari (Italy)

The next meeting of the  ID-EPTRI (European Paediatric Translational Research Infrastructure) project, entitled “EPTRI: una nuova Infrastruttura Europea per favorire la Ricerca Traslazionale in Pediatria” (EPTRI: a new European Research Infrastructure to foster the translation reserach in paediatrics), will be held on April 10th in Bari (Italy) at the Salone degli Affreschi of the University of Bari, in Piazza Aldo Moro, 1.

ID-EPTRI: a new research infrastructure that will facilitate the future development of better paediatric medicines

Children and young people represent 20 % of the European population. When we refer to this group of people as patients, it’s essential to consider that they are different from the adult patients. Their metabolism is different, because they are in continuous development and also they can suffer diseases that sometimes might be limited to the paediatric setting.

Accelerating Paediatric Formulation Development – the SPaeDD-UK project meeting in London, March 28th 2018

The meeting aims to provide an update on Contemporary Paediatrics and to present the outputs of the SPaeDD-UK Project. This is of great importance for the EPTRI project, especially in relation to the thematic platform for paediatric formulation. Catherine Tuleu from University College London and WP leader of the Paediatric formulation platform (WP8) is directly involved in the paediatric research program of the SPaeDD-UK project.

A video of the Kick-off meeting now available

We would like to thank all participants to the ID-EPTRI Kick-off meeting. The active participation and the strong interest shown by more of the 100 participants has confirmed that the ID-EPTRI project can count on a collaborative and proficient partnership that could allow reaching all the challenging objectives foreseen towards the establishment of the European Paediatric Translational Research Infrastructure.
